USED FENDER USA / 1976 Jazzmaster Sunburst [06]

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a Jazzmaster made in 1976, the last period of the plate serial!

This is a rare Jazzmaster from the late 70's with low production numbers. The two-piece ash body has a heavy feel typical of this period, and the rounded rosewood fingerboard with block inlays and the maple neck with binding is moderately thick and firm.
The neck date is faded but reads "0100-1865". Also, there is a piece of shim between the neck joint.

The PU has two original gray bobbins, and the neck PU has lost its date, but the rear PU date is "133076." The Vol pot has been replaced with a '77 one with date "1377715" and the Tone pot is original with date "1377609. The height adjustment sponge under the PU and 4 PU mounting screws have been replaced.
The pickguard has been replaced and some of the ground wires have been rewired at that time. Other electrical parts seem to be original.
The knobs have slightly different fonts, and one of them seems to have been replaced.

The pegs, bridge, vibrato unit, and arm also appear to be original, but only the bridge saddle height adjusting screw has been replaced.
There are five signatures written on the front and back of the head. To protect the original finish, we will leave it as is.
There are other metal parts that are dull, minor dings, scratches, paint chips and cracks, and color burns and fading.
The instrument has been cleaned and adjusted after arrival and can be used without any playing problems.

The combination of ash rose and hard, weighty tone is suitable for alternative sounds. The Jazzmaster has now become one of the standard models, and we recommend this model to those who are looking for something different from the others.
