The "Jan Ray", one of the king among distortion effectors called "transparent", is now in stock in used condition.
This pedal was developed based on the "Magic 6" sound, which was created by setting all the parameters of the F Company's BlackFace amps to 6, and is still a popular VEMURAM model, supporting the feet of many guitarists.

The Jan Ray that we have just received is a relatively early model, serial number 800 series.
It is said that Jan Ray from this period has some differences in internal parts and sound from the current ones, and the price tends to rise year by year.

Compared to the current model, the current Jan Ray has a slightly emphasized low frequency range and a thin saturation component, which makes it sound clear and transparent, while this model has an excellent balance between the low and high frequency range, and the attack is more clear and juicy, which makes it more popular. It is a sound that is not often seen on the market.

This is a rare 3-digit serial number, so please take advantage of this opportunity.

The unit has a few scratches and stains, but there are no operational problems.
The history is unknown, but there is a possibility that the chassis has been changed.

トランスペアレント系と呼ばれる歪みエフェクターの中でも、王道の一台「Jan Ray」が中古にて入荷。
F社BlackFace期のアンプのパラメーターを全て6にする、通称「マジック６」サウンドを基に開発されたペダルで、現在もVEMURAMの人気機種として多くのギタリストの足元を支え、２０２５年現在で既に20000台を超える台数が出回っております。

今回入荷したのは、比較的初期と呼ばれるシリアル800番台の個体になります。
この時期のJan Rayは、現在のものと内部パーツやサウンドに違いがある言われており、年々高騰傾向にあります。

現行品と比較すると、現行の個体は低域がやや強調されており、サチュレーション成分も薄いため雑味がなくクリアでトランスペアレント系らしいサウンドなっているのに対し、本機は低域と高域のバランスが優れており、アタック感もより明瞭でジューシーさが増している分、その人気にも納得の行くサウンドとなっております。

市場でも中々お目にかかれない３桁シリアルの個体、この機会に是非ご検討ください。

キズや汚れなど若干の使用感はございますが動作上の問題はございません。
経緯は不明ですが、筐体が変更されている可能性がございます。

Please Note

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.

In that case we will cancel the order and refund any payments received.
