This is a DOD 250 overdrive preamp, known as a favorite of Ingvay Malmsteen.
The wide gain range and the great body and cleanness of the sound make it a great booster, and as you increase the GAIN, you get a very deep distortion, but with a wide range, it adds rich overtones without losing the sound and dynamics of the guitar.
The balance between the bright highs and full lows produced as the GAIN is increased is exquisite, and both single coil and humbucker pickups can be used to create a wonderful driving sound.

This is an early gray body model.
There are some signs of use commensurate with its age, and there is a defective switch that may be caused by parts deterioration.
The battery snap has been replaced.

イングヴェイ・マルムスティーンの愛用で知られる、DOD 250のオーバードライブ・プリアンプ。
ゲインレンジが広く、音のコシやヌケがすこぶる良いので、ブースターとしてもおすすめです。GAINを上げていくとかなり深い歪みが得られますが、ワイドレンジでギターの持つサウンドやダイナミクスを失うことなく豊かな倍音を加えます。
GAINを上げるに従って生み出される、きらびやかな高域成分とふくよかな低域成分のバランスが絶妙で、シングルコイル、ハムバッカー、どちらのピックアップでも素晴らしいドライビング・サウンドがつくれます。

こちらの個体は初期のグレイボディの物です。
全体的に年代相応の使用感が見受けられ、またパーツ劣化が原因と思われるスイッチ不良があります。
バッテリースナップが交換されております。

Please Note

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.

In that case we will cancel the order and refund any payments received.

Buyers are responsible for any and all duty and customs charges that may be incurred.These charges are are not included in the item price or shipping charges.
