The American Performer Stratocaster, built in Corona, California, offers the authentic tone and feel of a USA-made Fender and features modern specs that inspire performance throughout. The Stratocaster features modern specs that inspire performance.
The Stratocaster features an alder body, maple neck, and rose fingerboard.
Three Yosemite Single-Coil Stratocaster pickups were developed especially for this instrument.
The Greasebucket tone circuit attenuates the low frequency range when the tone is turned down, preventing the sound from becoming muddy. In addition, a push/pull control is provided to enable the neck pickup in all switch positions, allowing for a wider range of tones.
There is a picking scratch on the pickguard.
There are some other minor scuffs and scratches, and the metal parts are a little dull.
It has been cleaned and adjusted after arrival and has no playing problems.
