Based on the Les Paul Standard 50s Figured Top, which boasts top sales within the Gibson USA lineup, we ordered this custom model with the body top color changed to "Dirty Lemon Burst" and the body & neck back changed to "Vintage Cherry".
"Dirty Lemon Burst" is a custom color not currently available in the standard Gibson USA lineup, though it was featured on US Exclusive models offered until last year.
Lemon-based colors, frequently used in Gibson Custom Shop Historic models, are highly popular for their ability to replicate the faded appearance and color tones seen in real vintage cherry finishes over time.
This time, in addition to the popular lemon-based "Dirty Lemon Burst," we selected a "Vintage Cherry" finish for the body back and neck back that isn't overly bright, further enhancing the overall visual appeal.
This color matching creates a Les Paul Standard with a vintage look reminiscent of Gibson Custom Shop Historic models.
Featuring an AA-grade maple top, a mahogany body without weight relief, and a rounded neck reminiscent of the 1950s, this is the perfect instrument for players seeking a classic Les Paul Standard.
Equipped with the highly regarded Burstbucker 1 (Neck) and Burstbucker 2 (Bridge) pickups, it faithfully reproduces every nuance of your playing expression, from subtle left-hand articulation and picking dynamics to delicate volume control.
Rather than the circuit boards seen on recent Gibsons, the hand-wired electronics feature Orange Drop capacitors.
Packed with vintage-inspired details for both sound and looks, it features Keystone tuners, a wire-free ABR bridge, and an aluminum bridge tailpiece.
There are minor scratches, dents, and some tarnish on the metal parts, but it's in good condition for a used item.
Cleaned and fully adjusted after arrival; plays perfectly.
