Xotic is known among high-end component-based brands for its guitar-making approach that leans toward the vintage side. Combining modern features designed for live performance with a vintage-inspired sound, these guitars are widely favored by studio musicians.

This model is a Strat-style guitar predating the current XSC series. While the exact year of manufacture is unknown, the old logo and three-digit serial number suggest it was made relatively early on.
It features a maple neck with a slightly flat, 22-fret maple fingerboard. While not thin, the neck shape is slightly sleeker compared to recent Xotic models, giving the impression of a soft V-shape near the lower frets that transitions to a C-shape toward the higher frets.
It features an easy-to-hold, dinky-shaped ash body in the classic sunburst finish.
It is equipped with a Raw Vintage 50's Strat pickup set. It features classic components, including Kluson-style tuners, a 6-point-mounted synchronized tremolo, and Raw Vintage saddles.
The strap pins have been replaced with Jim Dunlop locking pins, but the strap attachment hardware is missing.

The neck has a satin finish, so there are some dark spots and uneven discoloration from use. There are dents around the headstock and other minor scratches and dents throughout, but considering its age, the body is in relatively good condition.
It has been cleaned, fully adjusted, and had its frets leveled and nut slots adjusted since arrival, making it a guitar that is still ready for use.
