Manufactured at the Corona, California factory, the American Performer Precision Bass delivers the authentic tone and feel unique to USA-made Fender instruments, while featuring modern specifications throughout that inspire your performance.
This model is equipped with a Yosemite™ split-coil Precision Bass middle pickup—developed specifically for the American Performer series to deliver a rich, expressive tone—and a Yosemite single-coil Jazz Bass bridge pickup.
The Yosemite™ pickups feature a staggered, non-chamfered pole piece design that delivers high output, and are potted in shellac solution to suppress feedback while producing a dynamic sound.
In addition, the American Performer Precision Bass is equipped with a Greasebucket™ tone circuit that attenuates the low frequencies by an appropriate amount when the tone control is turned down, preventing muddiness in the sound.
The Modern C-shaped neck with a 9.5-inch radius fingerboard is equipped with 20 medium-jumbo frets, supporting expressive performances with comfortable playability.
The overall condition is good; there are some playwear marks, but no major damage is visible.
The truss rod is on the stiff side, but there are no issues with tightening or loosening it.
