USED GIBSON USA / L-4 CES 1993 Ebony [06]

A used 1993 Gibson USA L-4CES has just arrived!
This easy-to-play 16-inch fully acoustic model is no longer in production and has become a rare find.

It features a solid spruce top, maple sides and back, a mahogany neck, and an ebony fingerboard.
It features gold hardware and luxurious decorative accents.
Compared to the ES-175 with its laminated top, this model is characterized by a richer, more acoustic-sounding tone.
Overall, there is weather checking, scuffs, scratches, dents, and touch-up marks.
There are signs of polishing on the body top where a signature was likely removed, though faint traces of the original ink are still visible. Additionally, there are sticker residue marks on the back of the headstock.
The binding is sun-faded throughout; the neck binding has cracks in places, and there is a partial chip on the 7th fret, on the side of the 1st string, caused by an impact.
There are signs of adhesive repairs on paint cracks next to the rear tone knob and next to the front pickup.
The laminated joint on the back of the headstock near the high-pitched strings is slightly frayed at the tip and has a crack.
The neck shows slight warping, and although the truss rod is fully tightened, there are currently no issues with playability.
The rod cover screw is cracked, and there are white spots on the pickguard.
Additionally, there are solder repairs, as well as tarnished, discolored, and rusted metal parts.
