USED FENDER JAPAN / ST71-85TX Black MOD [06]

A Japanese-made reissue model that combines the distinctive look of a '70s Stratocaster with the powerful sound of the Texas Special.
Featuring an ash body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, this guitar faithfully reproduces classic ’70s Stratocaster details such as a large headstock, a three-point neck joint, and a bullet truss rod.

This model is the “TX” specification, equipped with three USA-made Texas Special pickups. It combines a sharp attack with rich mids, delivering a crisp, bell-like tone when played clean and a resilient Stratocaster sound when driven.

Based on the serial number, it was manufactured around 1997–2000.
This is a ST71-85TX/R NAT that was DIY-painted black; it also features distressed finishing, and the paint condition is poor.
It also shows signs of wear, including rust on the screws, pickguard scratches and discoloration, and dents on the headstock tip.
The zipper on the pocket of the included soft case is broken, and one zipper pull is missing.
Condition Grade: B: Shows significant scratches and signs of wear, but is perfectly functional for normal use
