John Mayer Signature Model “SE Silver Sky Maple Nylon Blue” Now in Stock (Used)!

The SE SILVER SKY features a poplar body, a bolt-on maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard with bird inlays, 22 frets, and a 25.5-inch scale length. It is equipped with the 635 JM”S” pickup, which delivers tight bass, dense mids, and sparkling highs.

Like the US model, the headstock is based on PRS’s signature shape but incorporates a curved design with extra clearance on the G-string side to prevent fingers from hitting the headstock—a consideration for John Mayer’s playing style—and features a unique tuning peg layout to further enhance tuning stability.

The neck is a 635 JM specification (the “635” refers to “63.5 years,” signifying a blend of the 1963 and 1964 models) modeled after the shape of vintage guitars from those years. It features a rosewood fingerboard, a bolt-on neck, 22 frets, a 25.5-inch scale, and “Small Birds”—a scaled-down version of PRS’s signature bird inlays.

There is a dark mark resembling a stand hook mark at the base of the high-string side of the headstock.
There are scuff marks on the top and back of the body.
The pickguard has numerous play marks and scratches.
There is rust on the 4th-string saddle of the bridge.
While there are other minor scuffs, dents, and some tarnish on the metal parts, the overall cosmetic condition is relatively good for a used instrument.
It has been cleaned and fully adjusted since arrival.
