This is a 1978 Gibson Hummingbird Custom.

Spruce top, mahogany sides and back, rosewood fingerboard, block inlay 3P neck, 643mm scale/305mm (12")R/42.0mm nut, tulip button Gibson pegs, a pickguard with an impressive hummingbird design, and a rich sound.

This model has a 70's characteristic atmosphere and a stately look.

The PU has been retrofitted with an endpin jack. There are some signs of use commensurate with the age of the guitar (cracks on the top and back of the body, bent pickguard, cracks on the body binding and neck binding, peeling paint on the back of the neck, scuffs and scratches, picking marks, fogging of metal parts and screws, etc.).

The guitar has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret adjustment, refretting, fingerboard correction, nut replacement) upon arrival, the fret board is high enough to play, and the truss rod is adjustable to ±60°.

The truss rod is adjustable for tightening and loosening, and its operation has been confirmed to be ±60°. It has some scratches and stains, but there are no operational problems.

Gibsonアコースティック・スクエアショルダーの代表格、スプルース・トップにマホガニー・サイド＆バック、ローズ指板には70年代特有のブロックインレイ・3Pネック、643mmスケール/305mm (12")R/42.0mmナット、チューリップボタンのGibsonペグ、印象的なハチドリが描かれたピックガード、豊かな鳴りが特徴の一本です。

70年代特徴の雰囲気あるモデル、風格あるルックスに仕上がった一本です。

PUが後付けされ、エンドピンジャック仕様になっています。年式相応の使用感(ボディトップやバック割れ補修痕、ピックガードのたわみ、ボディ・バインディングやネック・バインディングのクラック、ネック裏塗装剥がれ、スレや拭きスジ、ピッキング痕、金属パーツやネジ類の曇り、等々)が見られます。

入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・オクターブ調整・弦高調整・フレットすり合わせ・リフレット・指板修正・ナット交換)済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは締める方向・緩める方向調整可能で±60°まで動作確認済みです。

かなり傷や汚れなど使用感はありますが、動作に問題はありません。

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.

In that case we will cancel the order and refund any payments received.
