This snare is believed to be from the Gretsch classic USA Custom series, circa 1990s.
The parts are from the USA-made period, and the sound is more open and softer than current models.
The sound is fuller and the rim shot is not hard, and it has a characteristic bite-like feel.
Since it is a 6.5" deep model, it has a rich low-mid sound, and thanks to the 10 tension, it seems to have a wide tuning range.
It is also not a 20-lug separate type, so it remains moderately open and has a fat and powerful yet delicate and warm character.

Overall, there are some minor scratches, dirt, and other signs of use, but there are no particular defects, and the sound itself is good and can still be used well.
The snappy has been replaced with a Canopus snappy.

グレッチの定番、USAカスタムシリーズの1990年代ごろのものとみられるスネアです。
パーツはUSAメイドの時期のもので、サウンド的にも現行よりもオープンで柔らかいサウンド。
鳴りもふくよかでリムショット時も硬質な感じなく、食い込むような打感が特徴的です。
深さ6.5インチモデルですので、ローミッドの豊かなサウンドで、10テンションのおかげでチューニングレンジも幅広く取れそうです。
また、20ラグのセパレートタイプでもないので適度なオープンさも残しており、ファットでパワフルながらも繊細であたたかいキャラクターが特徴的です。

全体的に細かい傷、汚れ他使用感はやや目立ちますが、特に不具合のある箇所はなく、サウンド自体は良好、まだまだ十分お使いいただけます。
スナッピーはカノウプス製に交換されています。
