Inheriting the BB tradition, the BB434 is Yamaha's broad bass.

The BB434 features a bolt-on joint in the tradition of the famous BB, with an alder body, maple/mahogany 5P neck, rose fingerboard, YGD V5 P/J (Alnico V) PJ layout, and string-through body (through the back of the strings) construction.

This guitar has the unique tone and high playability of the BB series of yesteryear, and is useful for home recording with its wide range of sound-making possibilities.

It shows signs of use (minor scratches and scuffs around the body, scratches and scuffs from playing, scratches on the fingerboard surface, picking marks, fogging of metal parts and screws, and other exterior damage).

The fret board has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and deburring) upon arrival, the fret board is high enough to play, and the truss rod can be tightened or loosened up to ±60 degrees.
