Fender Made in Japan Michiya Haruhata Model Stratocaster, 2019.

This is a signature of Michiya Haruhata, the first Japanese to sign an endorsement contract with Fender since 2002. Quilted maple top/ash back, reverse head maple neck, 10R rose fingerboard with medium frets, DiMaggio Air Norton PU, Fred and Fender Texas Special combination, master volume/middle pickup volume/. Master Volume/Middle Pickup Volume/Master Tone and unique wiring follow the original.

The direct-mount HSH layout, double locking tremolo, and neck shape are all based on 3D profiling of the actual instrument. The tone knob is a push-push switch that allows the front pickup to be turned on regardless of the selector position, contributing to a variety of sound making.

The high quality of the Japanese-made Fenders, produced under the technical guidance and supervision of Chris Fleming, who was a senior master builder at the Custom Shop, and others, and the wide variety of sound variations are also appealing.

The SW pot has been replaced, and there are some signs of use (paint bubbles on the 6th string side of the body, color bleeding, scratches and scuffs, picking marks, buckle marks, scratch marks, fogging and bits on metal parts and screws, and other exterior damage that may be from manufacturing).

The fret board has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret adjustment, SW pot replacement) upon arrival, the fret board is high enough to play, and the truss rod can be tightened or loosened up to ±60 degrees.
