This is a Gibson Custom Shop Historic Collection 1958 Les Paul Reissue VOS with a hint of figured maple, made in 2013.

This 2013 spec 58 Les Paul is the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Custom Shop, and has undergone many specification changes. It has a figured maple top instead of plain, an aniline-dyed mahogany back and neck, hide glue, tubeless rods, long studs, etc., and a Custom Bucker PU.

The roundness of the 58 neck profile is said by many to make it easier to play, and the tight low end of the sound makes it a very attractive instrument.

The sound is tight and low end. It shows signs of use (scratches around the head, dents and scratch marks on the body top and outer perimeter, scuffs and scratches, picking marks, weather cracks on the binding, stains on the aniline dye paint binding, cracks inside the knobs, cloudy, bits and rust on the VOS finished metal parts and screws, and other external damage).

The fret board has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, fret adjustment) upon arrival, and the fret board is high enough for playing.

うっすらとフィギュアドメイプルが現れたギブソン・カスタムショップのヒストリックコレクション・1958・レスポール・リイシュー・VOS、2013年製です。

カスタムショップ設立設立20周年にあたる、随所に仕様変更にあった2013年スペックの58レスポール。プレーンではなくフィギュアドメイプルトップになっており、アニリンダイ着色のマホガニー・バック＆ネック、ハイドグル―接着、チューブレス・ロッドやロングスタッド等の採用、PUはカスタムバッカーを搭載しています。

丸みがかえって弾きやすいとの声も多い58ネックプロファイルで控え目ながら存在感あるトップの杢が映える一本、サウンドもタイトなローエンドが魅力の一本です。

使用感(ヘッド周り当てキズ、ボディトップや外周に打痕やスクラッチ痕、スレや拭きスジ、ピッキング痕、バインディングにウェザークラック、アニリンダイ塗装のバインディングへ染み出し、ノブ内部割れ、VOS仕上げの金属パーツ/ネジ類の曇り・ビッツ・サビ、等々の外観ダメージ)が見られます。

入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・フレットすり合わせ)済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッド左右60度まで確認済みで問題ない状態です。

Please Note

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.

In that case we will cancel the order and refund any payments received.
