Vintage 1978 Gibson ES-175D with "engraved numbered" 3-piece maple neck.

The Gibson ES-175D is a full-acoustic instrument used by many artists. It has a maple/poplar/maple top, sides and back, 3-piece maple neck with volute, Rose fretboard, 2 PUs with engraved numbers and Nashville bridge.

The ES-175D is hard to find and many people are looking for it. It has a jazzy, glossy sound and is useful for live playing at home.

A strap pin is attached to the end of the neck on the 1st string side. There are some signs of use (color burns, sanding marks on both sides of the first fret, paint bumps on the neck joint, paint damage on the elbow, scuffs and scratches from playing, picking marks, buckle marks, deteriorated selector rubber gasket, bent rear Tone axis, buzzing on each control, fogging of metal parts and screws, etc.). There are some exterior damages such as rust and bits on metal parts and screws. One metal fitting of the case is broken.

The fretboard has been set up (cleaning, string change, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret adjustment) upon arrival, and the fret board is slightly low but high enough to play well.
