This is Yamaha's 700 series BB734A, a bolt-on joint active bass in the vein of the famous BB.

It has a 3-ply alder/maple/alder body, 5-piece maple/mahogany neck, rose fingerboard, YGD V7 P/J (alnico V) PJ layout PU, and Vol/Bal/3-band EQ/active/passive switch SW.

This model has the unique tone and high playability of the wild BB series of yesteryear, and the back-through bridge, miter bolting joint, and 3-band QE allow for a wide range of sound making, making it useful for home recording.

It shows signs of use (minor scratches and scuffs, scuffs and play marks, picking marks, luster on the back of the glossless neck, fogging, bits and rust on metal parts and screws, and other exterior damage).

The fretboard has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret edge treatment) upon arrival. The fret board is high enough for playing, and the truss rod has been checked to 60 degrees left and right.
