A battle-ready custom-built model crafted by California master luthier John Carruthers.

John Carruthers' brand, Carruthers Guitars, has been involved in prototyping numerous artist models and developing products for various manufacturers.Based on the ST-type "S6," it features a quilted maple top/alder back body, a set neck with bird's-eye maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, three Velvet Hammer pickups (model number unknown), and a control panel common to many models, including a 9V battery holder and gold hardware.

This is a player's guitar combining practical performance with artistic woodworking beauty.

Visible signs of use include minor scratches, scuffs, paint chips near the truss rod hardware, wear and playing lines, picking marks, minor scratches and ring marks on the neck back, paint lifting around fret feet on the fingerboard sides, and tarnish/stains/rust on metal parts and screws.

Setup upon arrival (cleaning, truss rod adjustment, string replacement, action adjustment, octave adjustment, fret leveling, sticker removal) completed. Fret height is sufficient for playing, and the truss rod has been checked to 60° on both sides with no issues.

Condition Grade: B+: Some minor scratches present, but no issues for normal use.
