Radik's classic aluminum Acrolite, 404 snare drum.
It is serial 254908 and appears to be from the mid-1960s.
Short decay and bright sound, funky and tight, but with the mildness of wood.
It is a typical Raddick snare with a short decay and bright sound, funky and tight, yet woody and mild.

The mute is the original baseball bat type, and the major parts such as the hoop seem to be original except for some bolts, head, snappy, and other consumable parts.

There is one slight dent in the shell, but there is no major damage and the sound is good.
The parts are not so tired and clean.
The condition is still good enough for a vintage drum.

Lightweight and easy to handle, Acrolite is very popular.
Especially in the 60's, the sound is more open and mild.

ラディックの定番モデル、アルミ製のアクロライト、404スネアドラム。
シリアル254908で、1960年代の中期のものと思われます。
ショートなディケイと明るいサウンド、ファンキーでタイトながらも
ウッドのようなマイルドさをあわせもつラディックの代表的スネアです。

ミュートはベースボールバットタイプでオリジナル、一部ボルト、ヘッド、スナッピー等の消耗品を除き、フープ等の主要パーツはオリジナルと思われます。

ほんのわずかなシェル凹みが1箇所ございますが、大きなダメージを感じる箇所も無く、鳴りも良好。
パーツもそれほどくたびれてはおらず、中々綺麗です。
ヴィンテージドラムとしてはまだまだ十分良好なコンディションです。

軽量かつ扱いやすく人気の高いアクロライト。
とりわけ60年代の物はシェルの塗装が薄いのか、よりオープンでマイルドなサウンドです。
