This is Yamaha's original design hollowbody model, SA-50.

This semi-acoustic model was sold from 1967 to 1972, and was made in Japan, reflecting the original concept of YAMAHA. Maple neck, rosewood fretboard, medium scale with 0 frets, approx. 41mm nut, roller saddle, etc.

The original double cutaway design, the specifications that can reach the itch such as balancer at the 0th fret and center position, and the ambitious specifications of the time make this a model of the time.

It shows signs of use (peeling paint on the rod cover, re-glued nut, color burn/sticker marks, minor scratches and scratches, scuffs and scuffs from playing, picking marks, buckle marks, metal parts and screws, color fading, fogging, bits, etc.).

The fret board has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, rubbing, nut replacement, binding removal correction, balancer replacement) upon arrival, and the truss rod has been checked to 60 degrees to the left and right.

1967年から1972年まで販売されていた、YAMAHAのオリジナルコンセプトを色濃く反映したMade in Japan・日本製・セミアコモデル。メイプル・ネック、ローズウッド指板、0フレット採用のミディアムスケール・約41mmナット、ローラーサドル等、各部に拘りを感じさせる一本です。

オリジナルデザインのダブルカッタウェイ、0フレットやセンターポジションでバランサーといった痒いところに手が届く仕様、当時の意欲的な仕様のモデルです。

使用感(ロッドカバーの塗装剥がれ、ナット再接着痕、色ヤケ/ステッカー痕、小キズやひっかきキズ、スレや弾きスジ、ピッキング痕、バックル痕金属パーツやネジ類の色落ち・曇り・ビッツ、等々の外観ダメージ)が見られます。

入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・オクターブ調整・弦高調整・すり合わせ・ナット交換・バインディング剥がれ修正・バランサー交換)済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは左右60°度まで確認済みにて問題ない状態です。
