A classic standard jazz bass.

This is a Fender Japan Jazz Bass JB-45, manufactured between 2004 and 2006. It features a basswood body, a maple neck, a 38mm nut with a 7.25" radius rosewood fingerboard, a one-piece pickguard, a JJ pickup configuration, and a 2-volume/tone control setup.

With its versatile, well-balanced Jazz Bass tone, this is a valuable instrument not only for live performances but also for home recording.

Signs of use are visible on both the instrument and the case, including a musty odor from long-term storage, discoloration, minor scratches and scuffs, wear and playing lines, picking marks, and tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts, among other things. The soft case shows significant wear and has faded considerably.

Setup was performed upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret leveling, refretting, fingerboard correction, and neck straightening). The fret heights are at a level suitable for playing, and the truss rod has been checked up to 60° in both directions and is in good condition.
