モーリスのオール・マホガニー・モデル、FLB-81です。
「FLB-80」のトップ材にマホガ二ーソリッドを採用したモデル。アフリカン・マホガニーソリッドトップ/サイド＆バック、マホガニーネック、ローズウッド指板、トップ/バック共にXブレイシング、12フレット上のインレイやロゼッタ部のレーザー装飾、シルクフラット塗装の採用など、基本的な楽器構造はFLB-80を踏襲しています。
オールマホガニー特有のより軽やかな音色、シックな外観、抱えやすいフォルムで使い勝手の良い一本です。
若干の使用感(スレや拭きスジ、金属パーツの曇り、等)は見られるものの状態良好です。
入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整)済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは締める側に残り約40°まで確認済みにて問題ない状態です。

The FLB-81 is an all-mahogany model of Maurice's FLB-80.
The FLB-81 is an all-mahogany model with a solid mahogany top. The basic construction of the instrument follows that of the FLB-80: solid African mahogany top, sides, and back; mahogany neck; rosewood fingerboard; X bracing on both top and back; inlays above the 12th fret and laser decoration on the rosette; and silk flat paint.
The lighter tone characteristic of all-mahogany, chic appearance, and easy-to-hold form make this a very user-friendly instrument.
It is in good condition with some signs of use (scuffs, scratches, metal parts are cloudy, etc.).
It has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment) upon arrival. The fret board is high enough for playing, and the truss rod has been checked to about 40° remaining on the tightening side, so it is in good condition.
