USED Rickenbacker / Model 620 Mapleglo [3.34 kg / 2004]

The 620 features a solid-body design with a smaller body size compared to the flagship models, the 330 and 360, which have hollow-body constructions.

This is a Rickenbacker Model 620, manufactured in 2004. It features a maple body, a maple neck with a set-in construction, a medium-scale rosewood fingerboard, triangle position marks, a high-gain pickup, 2 volume/2 tone controls and a balance control (front pickup balancer), an R-tailpiece, and Schaller tuners with strap pins compatible with locking pins.

The Rickenbacker 620 is known for its bright and distinctive sound; it is recommended for vocalists and guitarists, as well as smaller players and female guitarists.

Overall, it shows signs typical of Rickenbacker guitars, including paint haze, paint deterioration from case storage, and stickiness. Signs of use are evident (such as shrinkage cracks in the binding, string marks on the fingerboard, paint peeling on the back of the neck, paint haze on the elbow area, discoloration, dents and scratches, scuffs and playing lines, picking marks,tarnish, pitting, and rust on screws and metal parts, etc.). The inner strap of the hard case is broken.

Setup (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret leveling, and jack area repair) was performed upon arrival. The originally narrow fret tops have a lower exposed profile on the painted surface but maintain a height sufficient for playing. The truss rod has been tested up to 60° in both directions and is in good working order.
