The Halcyon Blue Overdrive is an overdrive pedal designed specifically for low to mid-gain, featuring ORIGIN EFFECTS’ proprietary adaptive circuitry.

As the latest addition to the Halcyon series following the Halcyon Green and Halcyon Gold, it offers responsive and versatile tone options for classic overdrive pedal sounds via the Adapt and Voice switches.

Inspired by the early 1990s Marshall Blues Breaker pedal, the Halcyon Blue Overdrive reproduces the clear, rich tone for which the Blues Breaker is known, thanks to its soft-clipping circuitry and extensive midrange enhancement. Not only does it deliver a Marshall-like breakup sound when used with a clean amp, but it also maintains sound definition even when used to further overdrive an already distorted amp.

The Halcyon Blue Overdrive’s adaptive circuitry works to gradually fade out the boosted midrange as the signal becomes cleaner, returning to a full-range clean tone when the volume knob is turned back down. Furthermore, by adding the extra gain and low-end weight provided by the VOICE switch’s MOD setting, it delivers a classic overdrive tone with more nuance and responsiveness than ever before.

Halcyon GreenやHalcyon Goldに続く最新のHalcyonシリーズで、AdaptとVoiceスイッチによりクラシックなドライブペダルのサウンドにレスポンス豊かで多彩なトーンオプションを提供します。

このHalcyon Blue Overdriveは90年代初期のMarshall Blues Breakerペダルにインスパイアされており、ソフトクリッピング回路と広範なミッドレンジのエンハンスによりBlues Breakerで知られるクリアで重厚なトーンを再現します。クリーンなアンプに対してマーシャルライクなブレイクアップサウンドを得ることはもちろん、既に歪ませているアンプをさらにオーバードライブさせたりしてもサウンド定義を失うことはありません。

Halcyon Blue Overdriveのアダプティブ回路はクリーンになるにつれてブーストされたミッドレンジが徐々にフェードアウトし、ボリュームノブを戻すとフルレンジのクリーントーンに戻るように働きます。さらにVOICEスイッチのMOD設定から得られる追加のゲインと低音の重みを加えることで、これまで以上にニュアンスとレスポンスに富んだクラシックなオーバードライブトーンを実現します。

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.

In that case we will cancel the order and refund any payments received.

Not all of the items you purchase from us are in our Shibuya store in Tokyo where we do all of our international communications from.

Please be patient while we do inter-company transfers on your items. The usual wait time for our shipping is 7 to 10 days worldwide. We are open from 10:00am until 6:00pm (Tokyo time zone)
