USED YAMAHA / SD-014 Peter Erskine Signature 14×4 SD Series Limited Edition [08]

A highly rare signature snare drum by the legendary Peter Erskine.

A limited-edition snare drum released in 1989.
It features a 4-inch-deep shallow shell, a hallmark of Yamaha drums.

Thanks to the combination of aluminum die-cast hoops and a full-wrap snare,
it delivers a tight, bright sound and a delicate response, making it a very versatile instrument with a clear attack and a rich volume range.

The snare wires have been replaced with Pearl ones. While there are signs of use, such as the signature inside the shell (likely from the previous owner) and some discoloration and dirt on the parts typical of its age, it tunes perfectly and is still very much in working condition.

This is an extremely rare early Japanese-made signature model!
