現在のメタルスネアの礎となったと言っても過言ではない、ラディックの名機LM400の70年代の個体です。シリアルより70年代中期のものと推測されます。
アルミニウムにメッキを施したシェルは非常に鳴らしやすくレスポンスも良好。
オープンかつ明瞭なミッドレンジと明るく柔らかい倍音はフープが薄めの70年代ならでは。
あらゆるジャンルのドラマーに愛された汎用性の高いメタルスネアのお手本のようなサウンドです。
ヘッド、スナッピー以外はオリジナルと思われる個体で、パーツ、シェルともピッツが少ない美品でコンディション良好。
70年代の個体としてはベストに近い状態の自信を持ってオススメ出来るヴィンテージスネアです。

Radic's legendary model—a near-original, top-quality specimen
It is no exaggeration to say that this 1970s Radick LM400—a legendary model—laid the foundation for today’s metal snare drums. Based on the serial number, it is believed to date from the mid-1970s.
The electroplated aluminum shell is very responsive and produces a rich, resonant sound.
The open, clear midrange and bright, soft overtones are characteristic of the 1970s, with its thinner hoops.
It offers the quintessential sound of a versatile metal snare, beloved by drummers across all genres.
Apart from the head and snare wire, this appears to be an original specimen. Both the parts and shell are in excellent condition with minimal pitting.
This is a vintage snare drum that we can confidently recommend as being in near-perfect condition for a 1970s model.
