USED Voice / Delicate Professional #3 [3.44 kg / Manufactured in the 1960s] Voice Guitar by Iwase Electronics [08]

This is the Delicate Professional #3, a Voice Guitar sold by Iwase Electronics Co., Ltd. in the 1960s.

This electric guitar from Iwase Electronics was crafted by Mr. Iwase, who was formerly with Tesco and was well-versed in amplifier manufacturing and repair. The parts were all manufactured in-house. While its appearance is similar to the higher-end "Frontier" model, it lacks the phase-out switch on the 6th string. It features an offset body, a strikingly designed pickguard, an angled headstock, and knobs reminiscent of the audio equipment of that era, making it a model with a unique charm.

Although it tends to be overshadowed by Tesco and Guyatone, this is one of the renowned "Voice Guitars" from the golden age.

Tremolo arm missing. Signs of use (evidence that several tuning peg mounting screws broke and were reattached elsewhere; cracks in the wood; warping, bending, and cracks in the pickguard; paint chips around the edges; faded logo; small scratches and scuffs; wear and playing lines; picking marks;buckle marks, peeling or dull plating on metal parts and screws, pitting, rust, and other cosmetic damage).

Set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and string height adjustment). The frets are naturally narrow and have a low profile, but the height is sufficient for playing without issues. The truss rod can be adjusted in both directions (tightening and loosening) and has been tested to operate up to ±60° with no issues.
