This is the Hype GTR Shark 8 Limited Edition from Ormsby Guitars, a limited-edition 8-string model with a total production run of just 275 units.

Prior to the launch of Ormsby Guitars, this was an Australian guitar brand founded by furniture craftsman Perry Ormsby. It features a stainless steel 24-fret multi-scale (fan-fret)a chambered black limba body, quilted maple veneer/maple top, flamed maple neck, ebony fingerboard, mother-of-pearl inlays, Hotrock Bridge & De La Creme Neck pickups, volume/tone (push-pull)/3-way selector, locking tuners, and a gloss body/matte neck finish.

Weighing in at a lightweight 3.78 kg, this guitar offers exceptional sustain and a great fit, along with high playability and a wide range of sound variations, including coil-split functionality.

There are signs of use (faded paint, scuffs, playing scratches, picking marks, tarnish or pitting on metal parts and screws, and other cosmetic damage).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and string height adjustment). The frets are at a height that does not interfere with playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions (tightening and loosening); it has been tested to operate up to ±60° and is in good working order.
