USED YAMAHA / SD-060RG Jade Green 14x6 Snare Drum [08]

Commonly known as the "0 Series"

This was Yamaha’s top-of-the-line model in the early 1980s.
Featuring a machined rim and parallel action—designs that incorporated the trends of the time—it offers a tight, loud attack combined with the delicate response of a snare, a specification no longer found today.
The shell is based on the same 6-ply birch construction as the YD9000 series.
The contrast between the fat, mellow shell tone and the crisp buzz is unique, and the stability of the machined rim is a hallmark of this model.

Overall, the condition is typical for its age; there are scratches on the shell and some pitting and rust on the hardware, but the sound is excellent and there are no issues with playability.
A 6-inch depth like this is quite rare, isn’t it?
