USED Martin / 000M Custom [1999]

This 1999 000M Custom with a gloss finish is based on the Martin 000M, which was known for its excellent value with a matte finish.

Featuring a slim, deeply cut OOO body shape, a spruce top, mahogany sides and back, an Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, a 1-11/16" (approx. 42.86 mm) nut, a 381 mm (15") radius fingerboard, and a 648 mm (25.5") scale length, this model offers a finish similar to that of an OM.

This guitar is characterized by its rich tone, which responds well to fingerpicking.

Signs of use are visible (including minor scratches, scuff marks, and paint chipping around the headstock, top of the body, elbow area, and soundhole; scuffs, wipe marks, picking marks, buckle marks; a polished sheen on the back of the neck from playing; ring marks; and tarnish or pitting on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret leveling, binding re-gluing at the waist, and bridge re-crimping). The frets are at a height that poses no problem for playing, and the truss rod has been checked up to 60 degrees to the left and right and is in good condition.
