The Yamaha Broad Bass BB434 features a bolt-on joint design that carries on the legacy of the legendary BB series.

It features an alder body, a 5-piece maple/mahogany neck, a rosewood fingerboard, an 863.6mm scale length, a 250R radius, and a 40mm nut. The pickups are YGD V5 P/J (Alnico V) in a PJ configuration, with a 19mm string spacing at the bridge and a top-loading, string-through-body design.

This guitar offers the distinctive, rich tone characteristic of the classic BB series along with excellent playability; it allows for a wide range of sound shaping and is a valuable asset for home recording.

Signs of use are visible (including minor scratches, scuffs, wear marks, wipe marks, picking marks, buckle marks, shine, discoloration, and ring marks on the back of the neck from playing, as well as tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret shaping, and fret edge finishing). The frets are at a height that poses no issues for playing, and the truss rod has been tested to move 60 degrees in both directions and is in good working order.
