This is the Steinberger Synapse 5-string active bass, the XS-15FPA Custom.

The XS-15FPA Custom retains the headless design while featuring luxurious flamed maple. With a flamed maple top and maple body, a maple-graphite U-channel neck, a phenolic resin fingerboard, a strap hook, a nut compatible with both double-ball-end and standard strings, and EMG USA bass humbuckers and a piezo bridge, this model boasts a wide range of sound variations and excellent playability.

A finger rest has been retrofitted, and the folding footrest is damaged. There are signs of wear (including a strap pin mounting mark on the 5-string side shoulder, paint peeling around the strap hook mounting area, paint peeling around the back panel, scuffs and wipe marks, picking marks, and tarnish and pitting on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and string height adjustment). The frets are at a height that poses no problem for playing, and the truss rod has been checked up to 60 degrees on both sides and is in good condition (slightly tight).
