USED Gibson USA / SG Standard Heritage Cherry [2.81 kg / Manufactured in 2020]

An SG Standard featuring a large pickguard. This is a Gibson SG Standard, manufactured in 2020.

It features a mahogany body, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard with dish inlays, Grover tuners, and is equipped with 490R and 498T pickups.

The large-pickguard SG is just as popular as the small-pickguard ’61-style model. It’s a lightweight, easy-to-handle model, and its sound—characterized by a powerful midrange—is also a major draw.

There are signs of wear (such as minor scratches, scuffs, scuffs, wipe marks, picking marks, and tarnish or pitting on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The frets are at a height that poses no problem for playing, and the truss rod has been checked to move 60 degrees in both directions and is in good working order.
