USED Gibson USA / SG Special Cherry [3.11 kg / Manufactured in 2006]

This 2006 Gibson SG Special features a neck with dot position markers and no binding, as well as open-type pickups.

It features a mahogany body and neck, a rosewood fingerboard, a large pickguard, 490R and 490T pickups, and a Nashville TOM bridge.

Apart from the absence of neck binding, position marks, and pickup covers, this SG Special boasts the same specifications as the SG Standard from the same era, and its excellent playability is another appealing feature.

Signs of wear are visible (extensive paint damage from sticker removal across the body top; impact marks, scratches, scuffs, and playing lines around the headstock and along the outer edges; picking marks, buckle marks on the pickup bobbins, body top, and pickguard; ring marks on the back of the neck; tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts and screws; and other cosmetic damage).

Set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, action adjustment, and fret leveling). The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions (tightening and loosening); it has been tested to operate up to ±60° with no issues.

Condition Grade: B: Shows significant scratches and signs of use, but is suitable for normal use.
