Cherry Hill Drums snares are not very well known in Japan.

With limited documentation available and production numbers appearing to be low, I cannot definitively identify the model, but judging by the grain pattern, it appears to be a snare with a cherry (or walnut) stave shell.

It gives the impression of having been meticulously handcrafted; while retaining the soft character inherent to the wood, it delivers a very resonant, tight, and refined sound—an exquisitely balanced finish.

Although there is some tarnish on the hardware and minor scratches, this is a high-quality snare that hasn’t been heavily used and is in excellent condition—you can use it with confidence.

This is a stave-shell snare drum; the wood is believed to be cherry or walnut.
