A Fender USA American Standard Telecaster, made in 1999.

The American Standard Tele was originally released as part of the Standard Series in 1983 and as the American Standard Series in 1986. It features an alder body, a maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets, a truss rod adjustable from the headstock, a 6-way saddle, volume and TBX controls, a 3-way selector switch, and American Standard Tele pickups.

The American Standard, favored by many for its 9.5R fingerboard radius and 22-fret configuration, is known for its excellent playability and versatile sound.

The strap pins have been replaced, and the pickguard film is still in place; however, removing it may leave adhesive residue due to age. There are signs of wear (discoloration, a repaired crack in the pickguard, minor scratches and scuffs, and cosmetic damage such as tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts and screws).

The guitar was fully set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string action adjustment, fret leveling, correction of seized saddle set screws, repair of the cracked pickguard, replacement of the rear pickup height adjustment rubber, re-adhesion of string bushings, removal of string galling, and strap pin replacement). The frets are at a height that poses no issues for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted both clockwise and counterclockwise; its operation has been verified up to ±60°.
