USED Martin / D-28 Street Legend [2025]

The “D-28”—a model synonymous with “Martin” and part of the “Street Legend” series—exudes the presence of a seasoned champion.

This is a Martin D-28 Street Legend, manufactured in 2025. The “Street Legend” series is based on the “D-28” and uses modern printing technology to recreate the dignified presence of the vintage models showcased in the “Martin Museum.”Featuring a solid spruce top, solid rosewood sides and back, forward-shifted X-bracing, and non-scalloped bracing, the neck is crafted from mahogany with a slimmer, high-performance taper and an ebony fingerboard. By omitting printed finishes on the neck, this model achieves exceptional playability.

Unlike standard models, the open-style, vintage-like tuners have a subdued finish, and the pickguard—a tortoiseshell-patterned design with a similarly subdued sheen—further enhances the guitar’s character. This is a “D-28” that embodies the best of the past and the future, featuring “Martin” technology that not only delivers the visual impact of a vintage guitar but also enhances its sound.

While there are some signs of use (such as scuffs and wipe marks) in addition to the original aging print, the guitar is in good condition.

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, and fret leveling); the frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod has been checked to ensure it moves smoothly from 60 degrees to either side without any issues.
