A Fender USA Signature Series Eric Clapton Stratocaster with noise-canceling pickups, manufactured in 2001.

This Stratocaster is modeled after “Blackie”—the guitar that symbolizes Eric Clapton and which he cherished as his main instrument until his retirement. It features an alder body, a soft V-shaped one-piece maple neck, a 9.5R fretboard with a 42mm nut, and is equipped with three Vintage Noiseless pickups, volume and TBX controls, and a 25dB mid-boost circuit.

Thanks to the TBX controller and mid-boost circuit, this model offers a stable tone while providing the flexibility to handle both lead and chord work with ease. It is a guitar beloved by many—not just fans—and is suitable for professional use.

The hard case is not a genuine Fender product; there is a dent on the headstock, scuff marks on the fingerboard, and the 8-screw pickguard exhibits the typical warping and playing scratches associated with this type of pickguard.There is a dent with indentation at the body end, noticeable scuff marks on the back of the body, the pickup logos are fading, and the metal parts show some tarnish and pitting. While there are other signs of wear and tarnish, the overall condition is good.

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and scraping of string buzz), the fret heights are at a level suitable for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both tightening and loosening directions; operation has been confirmed up to ±60°.
