A Fender (Made in Mexico) Kurt Cobain Jag-Stang, manufactured in 2021.

Released in 2021 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the release of Nirvana’s seminal album *Nevermind*—and in honor of Kurt Cobain and Nirvana, who continue to influence music culture—this is the Jag-Stang model that embodied Kurt’s vision.It features an alder body, a slim C-shaped maple neck, a 24-inch short scale with a 7.25R rosewood fingerboard and an approximately 40mm nut, Jag-Stang single-coil and Jag-Stang humbucking pickups, a Mustang slider switch for in/out-of-phase control, and a Mustang tremolo.

Inspired by his beloved Jaguar and Mustang, the Jag-Stang—designed by Kurt—boasts a striking appearance and excellent playability thanks to its short scale and slim nut. It also offers versatile sound-shaping capabilities with its vintage-style single-coil and custom humbucker pickups.

The set screw securing the tremolo arm has been replaced with a clamping screw. The guitar shows signs of use (including scuffs on the outer edges, small scratches and scrapes, wear and playing marks, picking marks, and tarnish or pitting on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and removal of string buzz). The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions (tightening and loosening); it has been tested to operate within a range of ±60° and is in good working condition.

Condition Grade: B+: Some scratches are present, but the instrument is suitable for normal use.
