This is a Fender Japan Jazz Bass JB62-80 with USA pickups, made in 1992-1993 (Fujigen).

60s style jazz bass following the '62 style of the past. Alder body, maple neck (JB62-75 stamp), slab-applied rose fingerboard, JB-VINTAGE (USA) PU, 20 frets, spiral saddle.

It has a classic jazz bass sound that is powerful in ensembles, and is also useful for recording.

The pickguard and GOTOH pegs have been replaced, and the instrument shows signs of use (color fading, dents and scratch marks around the body, a crack near the 4th string screw hole on the back of the head, scuffs and scratches, picking marks, scratches near the 1st fret on the back of the neck, ring marks throughout, cloudy metal parts and screws, bits and rust, and other exterior damage). There are some exterior damages.

The fret board has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret adjustment, and PU sponge addition) upon arrival, and the fret board is high enough to play well.

往年の62年スタイルを踏襲した60sスタイル・ジャズベース。アルダー・ボディ、メイプル・ネック(JB62-75スタンプ)、スラブ貼りローズ指板、PUはJB-VINTAGE(USA)を搭載、20フレット仕様、スパイラルサドルを採用しています。

アンサンブルで威力を発揮する定番のジャズベースサウンドが魅力の一本、レコーディングにも重宝します。

ピックガード・GOTOH製ペグに交換、使用感(色ヤケ、ボディ周りに打痕やスクラッチ痕、ヘッド裏4弦ビス穴付近にクラック、スレや弾きスジ、ピッキング痕、ネック裏1フレット付近にキズ・全体に指輪痕、金属パーツやネジ類の曇り・ビッツ・サビ、等々の外観ダメージ)が見られます。

入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・オクターブ調整・弦高調整・フレットすり合わせ・PUスポンジ追加)済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは締める方向・緩める方向調整可能で±60°まで動作確認済みです。
