ラディック「L-201/スピードキング」は、歴代の名ドラマーが数多く
愛用しているドラムペダルの名器。
ダイレクト・ドライブ、ツイン・コンプレッション・スプリング
による独特の踏み心地、スマートなフォルムで今でも人気のモデル。
基本的な動作の仕組みは約90年前の1937年と変わってなく、設計は
戦前と思うと驚愕してしまう。
年代によりデザインの違いがありますが、この個体はフットボードの
ロゴが「Ludwig CHICAGO」、裏面のリブが4本、フープクランプの
フィンがロングタイプであることから1970年頃のモデルと思われる。
フットボードのフレームとのジョイント部に惜しくも経年変化が
見られるが、その他の部位は驚くほど状態が良く美品。
しかも元箱まで付属している。
