USED Gibson / Thunderbird IV Vintage Sunburst, manufactured in 1991 [09]

A flagship Gibson bass model named after the sacred “Divine Bird” from Native American folklore.
The body is made of mahogany, the neck is a through-neck design made of mahogany and walnut, and the fingerboard is ebony.

The truss rod is at its maximum loosening limit, and the neck shows signs of buckling. Additionally, scratching noise may occur when operating the controls. The instrument will be delivered in its current condition.
We have performed neck straightening, repaired a crack in the fingerboard, added a washer under the truss rod cap, and re-leveled the frets.
The strap pin is a black locking type. The matching locking pin for the opposite side is included.
There are scratches and string marks on the fingerboard, and from the 12th fret onward, noticeable surface irregularities are visible between the 1st and 2nd strings.
Weather checking is visible throughout the finish. There are numerous scratches and dents with indentations on the headstock and the back of the neck. The wood is noticeably worn and indented at the tip of the headstock, and the finish has peeled away near the 2nd and 3rd frets on the back of the neck, exposing the wood.
The body has numerous scratches and dents; a screw hole remains visible next to the strap pin at the body end, and the finish is peeling around the jack.
The control knobs are chipped, with the tops of two knobs missing; there are playing scratches on the pickguard and the front of the body; and the metal parts show signs of tarnish and pitting.
