The newly developed "Atmosfeel" pickup system is equipped. The airy and natural sound of acoustic guitars is brought out to the line as it should be.
The front board is made of solid Sitka spruce with A.R.E. treatment. The sound is matured as if it has been played for many years.
Fingerboard, bridge, and bridge pins are ebony.
Made in Japan model by skilled craftsmen.

＜Yamaha's traditional V-shape head
The original Yamaha FG head shape is decorated with a tuning fork logo. The truss rod cover is engraved with "Since 1966", which indicates the origin of Yamaha guitars.

<Solid Sitka spruce is used for the front board.

<Newly developed scalloped bracing
The scalloped bracing used in the FG/FS#800 series has been improved through a combination of pseudo prototyping using the latest acoustic analysis simulation technology and prototyping by woodworkers. The new scalloped bracing has been optimized to match the characteristics of the wood itself and the FG and FS models, and has realized further expansion of the low frequency range.

The newly developed Atmosfeel 3-way pickup system consists of three different pickups that reliably capture each frequency range: a piezo sensor in the under-saddle captures the mid-low range, a microphone in the preamp captures the low range, and a proprietary, extremely thin contact sensor captures the high range. By adding a contact sensor made of thin and durable piezoelectric synthetic paper inside (near the back of the bridge), we were able to reproduce the cohesiveness of string vibrations coming out of the soundhole, the lingering sound of each string, the touch feeling when fingering, and the airy and delicate sound brought by the overtone components in the upper register that conventional pickups could not pick up. and delicate sounds that are not picked up by conventional pickups. The sound of a live acoustic guitar is reproduced as it is in the line out.
