Standard made in 1980 with 3pcs maple neck and 1pcs mahogany back is in stock!

Plain 3pcs top without figured body. The head is a bit large and pointed at the tip. 3pcs maple neck. The back of the body and the back of the neck are also brightly sunbursted, which gives the guitar not only its sound but also its looks. There is a sticker of "Nihon Gibson," which was the distributor at that time, on the base of the head, and there is a volute to strengthen the neck. The pegs are original with Gibson logo. The body back is back to 1pcs mahogany from the pancake construction until 1978, and it has a solid low output combined with its weight. The front DC resistance is about 7.5k, and the rear DC resistance is about 7.5k, making it easy to handle nowadays. Each pot covered by an aluminum shield box is also original from 1980 and in good condition.

The body has scratches, scuffs, line scratches, and dents. There are fine picking scratches all over the pickguard, and there are also fine scratches around each knob. There are spider web scratches near the lower left edge of the body top. There are stand burn marks on both sides of the body side ends, and darkening and scratches around the strap pins. There are many scratches and dents on the body side as a whole, but they are not unnatural. The body back has buckle scratches overall, and there are large and small dents around the perimeter. The back of the neck has some paint peeling near both sides of the fret side, but the feel is smooth. There are some neck-suspension type stand burn marks on both sides of the lower head side, and there are some small dings and line scratches on the top of the head. The bridge has been replaced, but the nut and frets are original.

The neck is in good condition, and there are no string marks on the frets. The truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen, and can still be turned to tighten and adjust. The frets are about 40% remaining, making it a fretless wonder.

Overall, the body back has some signs of use, and the bridge has been replaced, but nothing that will ruin the atmosphere. The "Made in Nashville? Made in Nashville or Kalamazoo? The serial number on this one indicates that it was made in Nashville. However, the tip of the cutaway is reminiscent of the "Herirage series" made in Kalamazoo. The 3pcs maple neck is different from mahogany in that it has a resilient attack, and although there are different tastes in its sound, it is a neck material that followers of Zach and Sykes should definitely check out. Recommended for those who are looking for a Les Paul Standard for their own birth year guitar!

ボディトップはフィギュアドのないプレーンの3pcsトップ。少し大き目で先端部分が尖ったヘッド、メイプル3pcsネック仕様。ボディバックやネック裏も鮮やかにサンバーストされており、そのサウンドだけでなくルックスでも特徴付けております。ヘッド付け根部分には当時代理店であった『Nihon Gibson』のステッカーがあり、ネック強度を稼ぐためのボリュートもあります。またペグにはギブソンロゴが入った当時のオリジナルを採用。ボディバックには78年までのパンケーキ構造から1pcsマホガニー仕様に戻っており、その重量感も相まってしっかりとしたローをアウトプットします。PUには黒いスタンプで製造年が押された刻印ハムバッカーをオリジナルで搭載。フロントの直流抵抗値は約7.5k、リアは約7.5kと抑え気味となっており今となっては扱いやすくなっております。アルミのシールドボックスに覆われた各ポットも80年製のオリジナルで良好なコンディションを保っております。

ボディには拭きキズ、スリキズ、線キズ、打痕があります。ピックガード全体に細かいピッキングキズがあり、各ノブ周りにも細かい感じでスリキズがあります。ボディトップ左下エッジ付近にはクモの巣状にスリキズがあります。ボディサイドエンド部分両脇にスタンド焼け跡があり、ストラップピン周りには黒ずみやスリキズがあります。ボディサイドには全体的にスリキズや打痕が多くありますが不自然な感じではありません。ボディバックは全体的にバックルキズがあり、外周部分には大小打痕があります。ネック裏フレットサイド両側付近には塗装剥がれはあるものの、フィーリングはスムースです。ヘッドサイド下部両脇には首吊りタイプのスタンド焼け跡があり、ヘッドトップには小さな打痕や線キズがあります。ブリッジが交換されておりますが、ナットやフレットはオリジナルです。PUエスカッションマウントビス等は劣化してますが、他ハードウェアには少しだけ使用感やクスミはあるものの良好なコンデションです。

ネックコンディションは問題なく、フレットには弦跡等はありません。トラスロッドは締める方向緩める方向に調整可能で、締める方向にまだまだ回せ調整可能です。フレットの残りは4割程でフレットレスワンダーな感じです。

全体的にはボディバックに使用感がありブリッジが交換されておりますが雰囲気を壊すものはなく、年式相応にしっかりとプレイされてきた個体です。気になる『ナッシュビル製?カラマズー製?』というところですが、こちらはシリアルナンバーからナッシュビル製。但しカッタウェイ先端部分はカラマズーメイドの『Herirageシリーズ』を彷彿とさせくれます。メイプル3pcsネックはマホガニーとは違い、弾力のあるアタックでそのサウンドには好みは分かれるものの、ザックやサイクスが好んだようにフォロワーの方は是非ともチェック頂きたいネックマテリアル。ご自身のバースイヤーギターをレスポールスタンダードでお探しの方にオススメの一本です!
