Gibson EB-0 Walnut is now in stock! This EB-0 Walnut is a very nice example of an EB-0 that was manufactured in early 1969, just before the major changes to the EB-0, such as the 1-piece mahogany neck, small head, and open gear pegs.
This EB-0 was made just before the major specification changes such as 1-piece mahogany neck, small head, open gear pegs, etc. The SG style body has a square nylon saddle bridge and the original double coil pickups near the neck. Crown inlay on the head top. Pots and wiring remain original. It has a very fat and warm bass sound produced by the single front mounted pickup and 30inch short scale.

It has been maintained at our repair center, including truss rod rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret adjustment.
There are no major problems with the warp of the neck, but the truss rod has a little remaining in the tightening direction. There are no string marks on the frets, and about 50% of the frets are left. The string height is currently adjusted at about 2.5mm on the 12F 4th string side and about 2.0mm on the 1st string side. Please note that the tension is loose due to the short scale, which tends to make the touch feel boomy. If you are concerned about this, we recommend that you set the string height higher.
The overall appearance of the guitar shows some age-appropriate signs of use and deterioration, such as dents, paint reaction (weather checking, paint peeling), hardware tarnishing, and chrome corrosion, but despite its appearance, the guitar is still in good condition!
This bass is relatively close to the early specs after the change to the SG shape, and is a vintage bass without any flattery!

Neck condition: No big problem as it is now.
Little truss rod remaining.
About 50% of frets left (all frets have been rubbed together).
String height on the 12th fret: 4th string: approx. 2.5mm, 1st string: approx. 2.0mm

Gibson EB-0 Walnutが入荷しました！シリアルナンバーとポットデイト、随所で見られる仕様から、1969年前期に製造された個体と思われます。
1ピース・マホガニーネック、スモールヘッド、オープンギアペグといった仕様が大きく変更される直前のEB-0。SGスタイルボディには、四角形状のナイロンサドルブリッジ、ネック寄りにオリジナルのダブルコイル・ピックアップを搭載。ヘッドトップにはクラウンインレイ入り。ポットや配線はオリジナルのままです。フロント一発マウントのピックアップと30inchショートスケールによって生み出される、非常に太く温かみのある重低音が特徴的です。

弊社リペアセンターにて、トラスロッドロッド調整・オクターブ調整・弦高調整・フレットすり合わせといったメンテナンス済みです。
ネックコンディションにおきまして、反り具合に現状大きな問題はございませんが、トラスロッドは締め方向で残り少なめとなっております。フレットには弦跡等は無く残りは5割程です。現状弦高は12F4弦側で約2.5mm、1弦側で約2.0mmで調整されております。ショートスケール所以の緩いテンションと相まって、タッチニュアンスがブーミーになりがちである為、あらかじめご了承願います。また、気になる方は弦高を上げ気味でセッティングして演奏することをオススメ致します。
外観としましては、全体的に打痕、塗装反応(ウェザーチェック、塗装剥げ)、ハードウェアのくすみ、メッキ腐食といった、年代相応の使用感、経年劣化といったダメージがかなり見受けられますが、見た目とは裏腹にまだまだプレイヤーズコンディション！
SGシェイプに変更されてからの初期仕様に比較的近く、お世辞抜きでヴィンテージ・ベースと呼ぶに相応しい貫録たっぷりの1本です！

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.
