Satin-finished rosewood Tele

This all-rose Tele is made entirely of rosewood, which is now a rare commodity, and is famous for its use by George Harrison. We have determined that it was made in 1985-86 based on the serial stamped on the original bridge plate. The neck and body stamps are TL69-98, and there is an OIL entry on the body side, which we believe to be the original satin finish. The screws on both sides of the selector switch have been replaced, and the bridge plate has been cleanly shaved, as if the owner did not want his hand to hit the first string side of the bridge plate. Both pots may have been replaced, and the rear PU has been rewired. Also, the pickguard screws have been replaced. The front PU cavity has been routed in a humbucker size, as if a humbucker was intended to be installed.

There are scratches, scuffs, and dings on the body. The pickguard has some minor pick scratches overall. There is a sesquicentennial-sized ding on the top left of the body top, and there is a bumpy ding on the side of the jack. There is also a sesame-sized ding on the upper left side of the body back. On the lower right side of the body back, there is a 16cm long gap in the rosewood ply that has been filled. There are small dents and scratches on the back of the head, and there are hit scratches all around the head. Each hardware has some scuffs and deterioration, but they are natural and not uncomfortable.

The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod can be adjusted in the direction to tighten or loosen, and can still be adjusted by turning it slightly in the direction to tighten. There are no string marks on the frets and about 70% of the strings are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 1.5mm on the 1st string side.

There are some modifications such as front countertops, rear PU rewind, bridge cutting, etc., but there are few signs of modification. The sound is good and a must have for George part players! The amount of distribution is very small, and the precious rosewood will be in the future....... Please buy as soon as possible!

サテン仕上げのローズウッドテレ

今や貴重となったローズウッドを全体に使用し、ジョージハリスン使用で有名なオールローズテレ。オリジナルのブリッジプレートに刻印されたシリアルから1985-86年製と判断しております。ネック&ボディスタンプはTL69-98となっており、ボディ側にはOILの記入がありオリジナルのサテン仕上げであると判断しております。セレクターSW両脇のネジが交換されており、ブリッジプレート1弦側に手が当たるのを嫌ったのか、キレイに削られ処置されております。両Potは交換されている可能性があり、リアPUはリワイヤリングされております。またピックガードネジが交換されております。フロントPUキャビティにはハムバッカーを搭載したかったのかハムバッカーサイズでルーティングが施されております。

ボディには拭きキズ、スリキズ、打痕があります。ピックガードには全体的に細かい感じでピックングキズがあります。ボディトップ左上にゴマ粒大の打痕があり、ジャック脇には打痕がゴツゴツとあります。ボディバック左上にもゴマ粒大の打痕があります。ボディバック右下、ローズウッドのプライ部分には約16cmの長さで隙間があったのを埋めた跡があります。ヘッド裏には小さな打痕やスリキズがあり、ヘッド周り全体的に当てキズがあります。各ハードウェアにはクスミや劣化がありますが自然な感じで違和感はありません。

ネックコンディションは問題なく、トラスロッドは締める方向緩める方向に調整可能で、締める方向にまだ少し回せ調整可能です。フレットには弦跡等は無く残りは7割程です。現状弦高は12F6弦側で約2.0mm、1弦側で約1.5mmで調整されております。

全体的にはフロントザグリ、リアPUリワインド、ブリッジ切削等ありますがパッとみ色々改造した感は少ないです。サウンドも良好でジョージパートの方は必須アイテム!流通量が少なく、貴重なローズウッドとなると今後は・・・。お早めにどうぞ!
