1976 S-1 with modified 5-way specifications in stock!

One of the bolt-on models, the "S-1" is a sibling model of the Marauder. The body is 3pcs maple, the neck is original with scarf joint, and the PU is original by Dan Armstrong. The body is 3pcs maple with an original scarf-jointed neck, and the PU is an original by Dan Armstrong. The pickguard was made accordingly and the cavity was deepened to fit the 5-way switch. Each pot and jack have been replaced, and the pegs, truss rod cover, and nut have also been replaced.

The body has some dents, peeling paint, and scratches commensurate with its age. The back of the body has buckle scratches from being played hard. The paint is peeling off the entire neck, and there is a slight bump at the scarf joint. The serial part on the back of the head is partially missing and the numbers are unreadable. The plating on the bridge has peeled off quite a bit. Other hardware has some signs of use, but is in good working order.

The neck condition is generally fine, and the truss rod can be adjusted to the tight side only. There are no string marks on the frets and about 20% of the strings are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 1.5mm on the 1st string side.

The 5-way selector is very comfortable to use, and the half tone has a very unique sound. It's a little firmer than I expected. It would be cool if you could master it! Please note that the frets are quite low, so the next one will be fretted instead of mortised.

ボルトオンモデルの一つ、マローダーの兄弟機種『S-1』。ボディはメイプル3pcsで、ネックはオリジナルでスカーフジョイント仕様。PUはダン・アームストロングによるオリジナルを搭載。また通常トグルスイッチ&ロータリースイッチ仕様ですが、こちらは5wayスイッチに交換。それに合わせピックガード作成し、5wayスイッチが収まる様にキャビティを深堀りしてます。各Pot、ジャックも交換されており、ペグ、トラスロッドカバー、ナットも交換されております。

ボディには年式相応の使用感、打痕や塗装剥がれ、スリキズがあります。ボディバックにはしっかり弾かれた様子でバックルキズがあります。ネック全体は塗装が剥がれており、スカーフジョイント部分には少し段差があります。ヘッド裏シリアル部分は一部欠けており数字が読めません。ブリッジのメッキはかなり剥がれております。他ハードウェアにも使用感はありますが動作には問題ありません。

ネックコンディションは概ね問題なく、トラスロッドは締める方のみに調整可能です。フレットには弦跡等は無く残りは2割程です。現状弦高は12F6弦側で約2.0mm、1弦側で約1.5mmで調整されております。

全体的には、セレクター交換により色々と変更がありますが、ぱっとみではさほど違和感は感じません。5wayとなり操作感は良好で、ハーフトーン時は個性的なサウンド。んーちょっとモコモコしてるなー。使いこなしたらカッコいいですよね!フレットはかなり低いので、次はすり合わせではなくフレットになりますので予めご了承ください。

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.
