Popular 1997 model with ash body and Texas Special!

The serial on the neck end is stamped "Made in Japan", but this is a transitional spec from 1997 when it was switched to "Crafted in Japan". The PU is an original Texas Special with DC resistance and hum cancellation at the center position, so it is definitely a Texas Special, although it is not specified.

Body is ash, neck is maple, 7.25" R fingerboard with slim vintage style frets. The neck shape is V-shape. Three sets of brass saddles and minus screws were very popular at that time.

There are scratches, scuffs, and dents on the body. The pickguard has some fine picking scratches, and the first string side is shiny. There are some large and small dents scattered around the outer circumference of the top of the body, and there are scratches on each part of the body where a tool or its screw was applied when adjusting the octave screws. There are dents the size of a grain of rice in the body side cutaway. The lower edge of the body back has some fine scratches. There are also large and small dents all around the perimeter. The back of the neck is dotted with large and small dents, mainly in the skunk stripe area. There are some scratches around the head and finger marks and fingernail marks on the fingerboard in the low position. There are also dents the size of a grain of rice on the 3rd and 4th strings at the 10th floor of the fingerboard. Each piece of hardware has some scuffs and minor signs of use, but is not filthy.

The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen. There are no noticeable string marks on the frets, and there is about 70% remaining. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 1.5mm on the 1st string side.

Overall, there are some dents and other signs of use, but they are not noticeable at a glance due to its coloring. The neck is in good condition and can still be used! Texas Special, ash body, and made in Japan!

1997年製、アッシュボディにテキサススペシャル搭載の人気モデル!

ネックエンドのシリアルが『Made in Japan』のスタンプ仕様だが、『Crafted in Japan』に切り替わる97年の過渡期の仕様。ネックを外すとちゃんと『TL52-TX』のスタンプありです。PUはオリジナルでテキサススペシャルで直流抵抗値やセンターポジション時にハムキャンセルされるので明記はないもののテキサススペシャルで間違いありません。

ボディはアッシュ、ネックはメイプル。7.25インチRの指板で細身のヴィンテージスタイルのフレット。ネックシェイプはVシェイプです。ブラスの3連サドルの採用や各ビスがマイナス仕様等こだわっており当時の人気モデルでした。

ボディには拭きキズ、スリキズ、打痕があります。ピックガードには細かくピッキングキズがあり、1弦側にはテカリが発生しております。ボディトップ外周部分には大小打痕が点在しており、オクターブネジ調整時に工具やそのネジを当てたのか各部分に当てキズがあります。ボディサイドカッタウェイ内に米粒大の打痕があります。ボディバック下部エッジ部分には細かく曇った感じでスリキズがあります。また外周部分全体的に大小打痕があります。ネック裏スカンクストライプ部分を中心に大小打痕が点在しております。ヘッド周りには当てキズが点々とあり、指板面ローポジションには指跡や爪痕があります。また指板面3・4弦10F部分には米粒大の打痕があります。各ハードウェアにはクスミや軽微な使用感がありますが不潔な感じではありません。

ネックコンディションは問題なく、トラスロッドは締める方向緩める方向に調整可能です。フレットには目立つ弦痕等はなく、残り7割程です。現状弦高は12F6弦側で約2.0mm、1弦側で約1.5mmで調整されております。

全体的には打痕等の使用感がありますが、そのカラーリングもありぱっとみではさほど目立ちません。ネックコンディションは良好でまだまだ使えます!テキサススペシャル&アッシュボディ&日本製の魅力的な一本です!

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.
