2024 FS9R in stock with little use!

FS9R" is one of Yamaha's flagship models. The body size of the FS is a little smaller than that of the FG, the concert size, and the body top is made of Adirondack spruce, the most distinctive feature of this series. The side backs are made of Indian Rose, producing rich low frequencies and sparkling highs. The neck is mahogany and bolted on with two bolts. The neck is made of mahogany and bolted with two bolts to increase the vibration of the body and improve maintainability. The scale is 634 mm and the nut width is 44 mm. The body is finished with nitrocellulose lacquer and the neck is finished with polyurethane. Position marks are similar to Japanese Kumiki work, and the rope inlay around the soundhole and purfling design are based on Japanese culture.

There are some scratches and minor scuffs on the body. There is a strap pin on the side of the neck. On the body back, there are some white spots under the paint. This is probably something from polishing during the manufacturing process that has surfaced over time after completion.

The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod can be adjusted in the tightening or loosening direction, and can still be turned and adjusted in the tightening direction. There are no noticeable string marks on the frets, and about 90% of the frets are left. The current string height is adjusted at about 2.5mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 2.0mm on the 1st string side. The saddle height is also high enough to allow for a wide range of adjustment.

Overall, there are few signs of use, and we can recommend this guitar to those who are considering a new one. The thin white material on the body back is considered to be an aging effect. The sound is clear without any stagnation and has a sense of separation, and it has the features of "far-reaching sound, excellent clarity, and delicate expression, which are very suitable for vocal accompaniment. This is a claim that is well supported by the "L" series and the "L" series of the same grade. Even compared to the "L" series of the same grade, it has a very different character! This is one that I recommend!

ヤマハのフラッシグモデルの一つ『FS9R』。ボディサイズはFGと比較して少し小ぶりなコンサートサイズのFS。ボディトップにはこのシリーズの最大の特徴であるアディロンダックスプルースを採用。サイドバックにはインディアンローズを採用しており、リッチな低域とキラッとした高域を演出。ネックはマホガニーで2本のボルトでボルトオン。ボディの振動を高めると共にメンテナンス性を向上を獲得。スケールは634mm、ナット幅は44mmとなっております。ボディはニトロセルロースラッカーで仕上げられ、ネックはポリウレタンで仕上げられております。ポジションマークは日本の組木細工と同様で、サウンドホール周辺ロープ状のインレイとパーフリングのデザインは日本の文化に基づいています。

ボディには拭きキズや細かいスリキズがあります。ネックサイドにはストラップピンが打たれております。ボディバックには薄っすらと白いものが塗装下に所々浮かび上がっております。おそらく製作段階で研磨時の何かが完成後に時間とともに浮かび上がったものと思われます。

ネックコンディションは問題なく、トラスロッドは締める方向緩める方向に調整可能で、締める方向にまだ回せ調整可能です。フレットには目立つ弦痕等はなく、残り9割程です。現状弦高は12F6弦側で約2.5mm、1弦側で約2.0mmで調整されております。サドルの高さも十分にありココでの調整幅もあります。

全体的には使用感少なく、新品をお考えの方にもオススメできる内容です。ボディバックの薄っすらと白いものは経年変化として考えております。サウンドは淀みなくクリアで分離感もあり、『音の遠達性と優れた明瞭さ、繊細な表現力を持ち、ボーカルの伴奏にとても適した特徴を持っています。』という謳い文句に納得。同等グレードの『L』シリーズと比較してもキャラクターはしっかり違いますよ!オススメの一本です!
