USED TOKAI / ST-60 Yellow Sunburst 1980 [10]

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a clean and beautiful 1980's Tokai Instrument ST-60YS.
The background of the era is the Showa period, so it is a piece from the time when it was common to have the manufacturing base in Japan.
The serial number indicates that it may have been made in 1980.
The condition of the body is the full original with solder virgin (not like new). (Please note that it is not like new.)
As for the feeling of use, we can confirm a few small scratches. Most of the damages are fine scratches on the side of the body, so they might be the scratches from care and polishing, or the scuff marks from the inner fabric of the square hard case that comes with the guitar. There is also a small peeling of paint on the first string side of the neck joint pocket, but it has been touched up and may not be noticeable from a distance.
There is a tendency for the resin parts to yellow, but these are not pseudo-processed brick parts, and the natural condition of aging is very appealing.
The metal parts also show signs of corrosion and deterioration, but most of them are oxidized by sebum stains or stains on the plating, and the corrosion on the screws seems to be a mild symptom of rusting.
Therefore, considering its age of about 45 years, I feel that it is clean, beautiful, and in rare near-mint excellent condition. (The hard case that comes with this instrument is also a ST/TE general-purpose case made in Japan by a case manufacturer that was responsible for producing wooden hard cases for famous Japanese instrument brands at the time, and there are several stickers on the exterior promoting the instrument brands of the time.)
